Bond cleaning FAQs

Straight answers to the questions tenants, landlords and property managers in Logan ask us most often.

What is bond cleaning?

Bond cleaning is a thorough clean of a rental property at the end of a tenancy, carried out so the home can be handed back in the condition recorded when the lease started.

It is more detailed than everyday cleaning and covers fixed surfaces and fittings across the whole property, from the oven and shower screens to skirting boards and window tracks.

What does a bond clean include?

A standard bond clean includes the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and laundry.

That usually means the oven, cooktop and rangehood, cupboards inside and out, showers, tiles and grout, toilets and vanities, wardrobes, skirting boards, door frames, switches, window tracks and sills, and floors vacuumed and mopped. Balconies, garages and outdoor areas are included where they form part of the tenancy.

How much does bond cleaning cost?

The price depends on the size and condition of the property, the number of bathrooms, and whether carpet cleaning or pest control is required.

A one-bedroom unit costs less than a four-bedroom house, and a property that has been maintained takes less time than one that has not been cleaned for a while. Send your property details through the quote system for a price based on your job.

How far in advance should I book?

Book as soon as you know your key handover date. A week or more of notice is helpful, and the end of the month is the busiest period across Logan.

If your timeframe is short, get in touch anyway and we will let you know what is available.

Do you clean carpets?

Yes. Carpet cleaning is available on its own or as part of your bond clean, which keeps everything on one visit and one quote.

Do you provide end-of-lease pest control?

Yes. Where your lease requires a pest treatment at the end of the tenancy, we can arrange it alongside the clean and schedule it once the property is empty.

Do you clean houses and apartments?

We clean houses, townhouses, duplexes, granny flats, units and apartments. Access and parking for unit complexes is worth mentioning when you book.

Do you service suburbs across Logan?

Yes. We are based at Park Ridge and work throughout the Logan area, including Logan Central, Browns Plains, Springwood, Marsden, Crestmead, Beenleigh, Yarrabilba, Jimboomba and surrounding suburbs.

If you are just outside the area, ask and we will confirm whether we can reach you.

Can I request a quote online?

Yes. Use the online quote system, enter your property details and we will respond with pricing and availability. You can also call us if you would rather talk it through.

What should tenants do before a bond clean?

Remove all furniture and belongings, take out the rubbish, and make sure power and water are still connected on the day.

It also helps to have your entry condition report handy so anything the agent will check is clear from the start.

How long does a bond clean take?

A small unit can take a few hours, while a larger house with carpets and outdoor areas can take most of a day.

Condition matters as much as size: heavier build-up in ovens, showers and floors adds time.

Can landlords and property managers book the service?

Yes. We regularly clean for landlords, property managers and owners preparing a property for new tenants or for sale, and can work to the schedule you need for the next inspection.
